I'm Shandelle, your dedicated coach with a goal-driven mindset. At Millennial Acres LTD, we're not just a riding facility; we're a tight-knit community that believes in building each other up and growing together. Our farm is more than a place to ride horses; it's a space where lifelong lessons are learned, friendships are forged, and memories are made.

Here, we go beyond the arena to instill values that last a lifetime. SHANDELLE- OWNER- HEAD COACH- EC LICENCED - BACHELORS OF EDU

Shandelle received a double degree in university. Bachelor’s of arts and Education at Lakehead University in 2016. In the summer months of her studies Shandelle worked for renowned horse women and horsemen, travelling nationally and internationally. As a young rider, she competed in eventing discipline. As an adult, she worked for Beth Underhill of Beth Underhill stables in Southern Ontario, and Nicole Walker of Adena Springs, in Canada and Europe. Years of working for top riders Shandelle has a broad and deep understanding of correct training and care from a young horse to international FEI Olympic qualifiers. While attending University Shandelle co-Founded Lakehead University Equestrian Team Thunder Bay. As team captain she successfully competed in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association ( IHSA) hunter equitation circuit, in the USA. While attending university, Shandelle taught riding lessons from beginner to intermediate riders coaching them at local horse shows as well as prepping them for the Royal Brandon Manitoba winter fair. Shandelle is passionate about continuing education. Shandelle was previous head Equestrian Coach at Queen Margaret’s School. The only school in Canada to have an in-house Equestrian program. Shandelle is a mentor to students who want to become coaches. Shandelle evaluates and tests students and coaches. Shandelle was selected to represent B.C as a learning leader to help coach Canadian coaches in a new program launching nationally in Canada.

LOIS MORGAN- JR COACH- RIDER LEVEL 6

Coach Lois began her equestrian journey at the age of six in Pony Club, eventually becoming a competitive hunter rider. Over the years, she found her true passion in dressage and teaching, where she loves to help children develop their skills and confidence in the sport.

For the past two years, Lois has trained under Shandelle in an intensive five-day-a-week program, diving deep into the nuances of dressage and hunter jumper training. She has seen firsthand the remarkable progress of young riders under Shandelle’s guidance, many of whom have celebrated multiple wins at local shows. Lois is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of equestrians, watching them grow and thrive both in and out of the saddle.

NALANI WALKER- JR COACH- RIDER LEVEL 6

Coach Nalani Walker has been immersed in the equestrian world from a young age, growing up on horseback with a strong foundation in western riding and achieving championships in barrel racing. Her keen eye for detail and dedication to training have led her to successfully start and develop ponies and horses under the guidance of her mentors.

Nalani’s true passion lies in empowering riders to gain confidence in their abilities. She focuses on teaching the “how” and “why” behind riding techniques, ensuring her students not only improve their skills but also enjoy the learning process. With a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging environment, Nalani inspires riders of all ages and levels to reach their full potential in the sport.

ANDER HARRIS- JR COACH- RIDER LEVEL 6

Ander Harris is an experienced equestrian coach with a diverse background in the world of riding. His journey began as a young rider in the Arabian circuit, where he developed a deep passion for horses and riding. After honing his skills, Ander transitioned to a eventing / hunter-jumper farm, where he further refined his abilities while riding for the UBC IHSA team.

With a patient and gentle coaching style, Ander is dedicated to creating a supportive and nurturing environment for his riders. He is particularly skilled at working with beginners, helping them build confidence and develop their skills in a positive setting. His organized and detail-oriented approach ensures that each rider receives personalized attention tailored to their individual needs.
